glibmm provides a C++ layer on top of the glib function library.
This package is provided for compatibility with legacy applications only, and
may disappear in a future release.
We stongly recommend against using this to develop new applications. Both
QtCore and the STL contain better implementations with a better API for all
functionality provided by glib.
