Description:
The NVIDIA Accelerated Linux Driver Set brings both accelerated 2D
functionality and high performance OpenGL support to Linux x86 with the
use of NVIDIA graphics processing units (GPUs).
These drivers provide optimized hardware acceleration of OpenGL
applications via a direct-rendering X Server and support nearly all
NVIDIA graphics chips. TwinView, TV-Out and flat panel displays are
also included in this drivers functionality. See the README file
included with this package for more information.
Run the scripts nvidia-enable or nvidia-disable which are included
in this package, as the root user, to enable or disable these drivers
with X.org, the graphics subsystem used in Ark Linux.
WARNING: THESE DRIVERS ARE PROPRIETARY AND CLOSED SOURCE. As a result,
if you encounter system stability problems or unexpected behaviour after
using these drivers, you are on your own. The Ark Linux team cannot
support the use of these drivers.
