* distinguish between fatal phone errors and recoverable errors,
  and don't force reconnect if they're recoverable

* and then: add feature to notify if message was sent or there
  was an error.

* get localization working properly

* tighten up configure checks to fail hard if the pre-requisites
  aren't found

* add preference for
	- erase messages from phone
	- store sent messages on phone

* write help documentation

* proper exception handling for GConf errors

LONG TERM

* look up sender number in phone addressbook
  	- this may be slow, use Evolution instead?
	- or perhaps do a one-time download of phonebook and cache locally?
	- or perhaps provide a multisync plugin?

* implement phone voice dialer

* implement MMS functionality (picture messaging, etc.)

* bluetooth headset control
