This page documents the :file:`contrib/Perez/` subdirectory of the
Pymacs distribution.  It has been contributed by Fernando Pérez on
2002-04-09, in the form of an email to the ``python-list`` forum.
Fernando writes:

  Since the included examples are very sparse, here's some sample code
  to get you going (some of it is useful, other will at least show you
  how to do basic stuff).
