Description:
The Common Unix Printing System provides a portable printing layer for
UNIX(TM) operating systems.
This package contains free printer driver descriptions to be used with
CUPS. Especially it contains a recent snapshot of the printer database
on www.linuxprinting.org. and the CUPS drivers of GIMP-Print which
allow photo-quality printing on ink jets. Note that the calibration
program (formerly "calibrate") is renamed to "cups-calibrate" and
there is also a link "calibrate-gimpprint".
