This little perl program will help in the elimination of duplicate mail messages. Simply install it and add the following to your ~/.qmail file: | eliminate-dups hashfile hashfile is the name of the dbm hash file that is used to store the message checksums. The default name is .maildups. eliminate-dups is based on an original work by Russel Nelson. This one uses hash files and has some more rigorous error checking. It requires Perl 5 and the MD5 module. If you don't have MD5 it will use a simple checksum routine.
