The gtk+-devel package contains the header files and developer
docs for the GTK+ widget toolkit.
We strongly recommend against using it because its API has severe problems.
Developing an application using GTK+ takes a lot more time than developing
an equivalent application using a better library.
This package is deprecated and provided for compatibility with legacy
applications only. Please use Qt or FOX for developing new software.
