Just Moon: a moon viewer for Linux (and other unixlike platforms) by Akkana Peck. The Just Moon home page is http://www.shallowsky.com/software/justmoon/ Just Moon has a modular UI, and currently can build in three flavors: gmoon: GTK+ qmoon: qt (2 or 3) qmoon: qpe (Zaurus, Opie, Familiar) To run Just Moon on a linux box: Install the data files (they install to /usr/local/justmoon): make installdata The files gmoon.linux and qmoon.linux are prebuilt linux binaries (for people who don't want to build the package themselves). Run it to see if it works: ./gmoon.linux ./qmoon.linux If it works, then copy the binary wherever you want it to live (e.g. /usr/local/bin). Eventually I'll make rpm and dpkg packages for it to simplify installation. To run on a Zaurus or opie pocket PC: install the .ipk file. On other platforms: There are no prebuilt binaries for other platforms yet. Please contact me if you want to help make that happen.
