<P>In <A class="sec" href="starting.html">chapter 2</A> we introduced
the principal predicates of
<font size=-1>XPCE</font>. For the examples we used controllers, because
these are relatively easy to use. In this section we present the basic
graphical components. These are more general and therefore can be
applied in many more situations, but they are also more difficult to
use.
<P>This section only introduces the basics of graphics in <font size=-1>XPCE</font>.
