This tutorial was created in hope that it would make starting with Atlas-C++ fairly straight forward. I hope that it will help you to become more confident with the library.<p>

Prerequisites</a></h2>
In order to use this tutorial, you will need:<p>

The latest version of Atlas-C++ - you probably have this already if you have this tutorial. <a href="http://www.worldforge.org/website/archives/downloads">Download</a>. </li>
<li>
libsocket++, a socket library that provides iostream-derived sockstreams. <a href="ftp://ftp.umsicht.fhg.de/pub/unix/language/C++/class-libraries/socket++-1.10.tar.gz">Download</a>. </li>
