<p>This filter uses the Direct Form I implementation, where <code>fftaps</code> contains the feed-forward taps, and <code>fbtaps</code> the feedback ones.</p>
<p><code>fftaps</code> and <code>fbtaps</code> must have equal numbers of taps</p>
<p>The input and output satisfy a difference equation of the form</p>
