        <h1>Native Queries</h1>
        <p>Native Queries are optimized to SODA under the hood. Therefore they can be normally used in a client-server environment. However, there is a catch: as soon as the native query is not optimized there will be two things required on the server:</p>
        <ul>
            <li value="1">The persistent classes definitions will be required because the objects will need to be instantiated to execute the query code.</li>
            <li value="2">The native predicate <span MadCap:conditions="Primary..NET">delegate </span>will be required to run on the server to do the actual job.</li>
        </ul>
        <p> To meet these requirements you can keep your persistent classes and <span class="MCTextPopup"><a href="javascript:void(0);" class="MCTextPopupSpot" onclick="FMCTextPopup( event, this ); return false;">NQ<img style="border: none;margin-left: 5px;" src="../SkinSupport/ExpandingClosed.gif" MadCap:altsrc="../SkinSupport/ExpandingOpen.gif" class="MCExpandingIcon" onload="if ( typeof( FMCPreloadImage ) == 'function' ) { FMCPreloadImage( '../SkinSupport/ExpandingOpen.gif' ); }" /></a><span class="MCTextPopupBody" style="display: none; ">Native Query</span></span> predicates in separate libraries, which will make it easy to deploy it on both the client and the server side. Otherwise you may try to express the unoptimised query in <a href="../basics/querying/soda_query.htm">SODA</a>, this option will make it more performant, but the disadvantage is less robust and maintainable code. </p>
