<p>db4o allows a user to configure the IO storage mechanism to be used. Currently db4o provides the following mechanisms: </p>
<ul>

<li value="2"><a href="storage/cachingstorage.htm">CachingStorage: A caching layer, used on top of other storages.</a>
</li>
<li value="3"><a href="storage/memory_storage.htm">MemoryStorage and PagingMemoryStorage: For in memory databases.</a>

<li value="4"><a href="storage/nonflushingstorage.htm">NonFlushingStorage: A storage which disables the costly flush operation</a>
