&kdetv; is an application to watch (analog) TV.
</para>

<para>Features of &kdetv; include three view modes, deinterlacing, overscan, a channel 
scanner, the ability to import the channel files of three other TV programs, teletext and 
closed caption decoding, and an easy-to-use graphical user interface. The
application supports remote controls using KDELIRC, a component shipped in &kde; 3.2.</para>

&kdetv; was known as <application>QtVision</application> or <application>kwintv3</application>
during development.
