Each rational number is presented as a pair <img class="formulaInl" alt="$(q, k) = q + k\epsilon$" src="form_263.png"/>, where <img class="formulaInl" alt="$\epsilon$" src="form_262.png"/> is treated symbolically. The operations on the new rationals are defined as </p>
