There are a couple requests we have seen that sounded useful to us.  These
are a few of the things we have planned for lsvpd.

Add a way to see if a device has an LED and store this information somewhere
in each device.

Create SCSI_fill templates for SATA devices

Find a less intrusive way of being notified of hotplugged devices. 

Hardware information that is stored in /proc/device-tree to be removed from
/proc and merged into /sys...
