<div><tt>demark(s,x)</tt> -- given a list of strings <tt>x</tt> and a string <tt>s</tt> provides the string obtained by concatenating the elements of <tt>x</tt> with a copy of <tt>x</tt> inserted between each successive pair.<p/>
