This is v0.9 of the themeselector iextensioni, dated April 30th 2011.

To use this extension the following schema must exist in 
/usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas.

   <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
   <schemalist gettext-domain="gnome-shell-extensions">
     <schema path="/org/gnome/shell/extensions/user-theme/" id="org.gnome.shell.extensions.user-theme">
       <key type="s" name="name">
         <default>""</default>
         <summary>Theme name</summary>
         <description>The name of the current shell theme</description>
       </key>
     </schema>
   </schemalist>

The schema must be named org.gnome.shell.extensions.user-theme.gschema.xml
and compiled using glib-compile-schemas.

Place all theme directories in $HOME/.themes/

Places extension.js and metadata.json in:

   $HOME/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/themeselector@fpmurphy.com

Create the themeselector@fpmurphy.com if necessary.

Restart your GNOME shell to load the extension.

This extension has been tested on Fedora 15 Beta.
