This function allocates and initializes a nand_bbt_descr for BBM detection
based on the properties of <span class="quote">“<span class="quote">this</span>”</span>. The new descriptor is stored in
this->badblock_pattern. Thus, this->badblock_pattern should be NULL when
passed to this function.
