  add regex lib that can apply a regex to a soft port.

  figure out what to put for file header copyright information on
  files with no identifyable copyright info on them

  document unit test stuff (or ask jmax to do it??)

  more unit tests on string.transform...not all methods fully
  regression tested

  Add at the very least the Newton-Rhaphson method to (math minima),
   and potentially more.  (add text to the documentation about when
   you should use which methods)

  A syslog handler for the logger

Consider:

  (math minima):golden-section-search has an arg @var{prec} that means
   different things based on its value...it would be better to convert
   to (ice-9 optargs) so these could be keyword-based.

  Put #:autoload in the module definitions where some modules were
  'used' to support just a couple of methods.

  Make prime> and prime< in (math prime) count by 2 instead of 1, for
  a speed increase...

  Evaluate SLIB wttree.scm to see how much faster the set operations
  are than core guile's.

  Consider extending the (logging logger) registration mechanism to be
  hierarchical like python's mechanism.
