Crescendo and decrescendo marks

The &quot;&lt;&quot; and &quot;&gt;&quot; statements are used to specify crescendo and decrescendo marks
respectively. Each mark must include a begintime and duration.
The begintime and duration can include a grace back up specification,
to make the mark begin or end on a grace note.
Some examples:
