Load profile (dialog)
=====================

The dialog is used to set up an intial set of configuration parameters of a new project.


Activating the dialog
---------------------

The dialog follows the :ref:`new-project-dialog`.


Loading settings from a project
-------------------------------

To load settings from an existing project, select the option :guilabel:`Copy settings from a 
recent project`.

\(1) Enter a path to an existing project file. Click the :guilabel:`Browse` button to show
a standard open dialog that allows one to browse files and directories.

List of recent projects is shown below (2). Select an item in the table (2) to load settings
from a recent project.


Loading settings from a profile
-------------------------------

To load settings from an existing project, select the option :guilabel:`Import settings from a profile`.

List of existing profiles is shown in the table (1). 

\(2) The path to the current directory where the profiles are searched for is displayed below
the table. Click the :guilabel:`Change folder` button to change the directory.


Load factory default settings
-----------------------------

To set settings of the new project to default values, select the option :guilabel:`Load factory
defaults`.
