copy the agent to /usr/bin/check_mk_agent

mkdir /etc/check_mk /usr/lib/check_mk_agent /usr/lib/check_mk_agent/plugins /usr/lib/check_mk_agent/local

edit MK_LIBDIR to be /usr/lib/check_mk_agent
edit MK_CONFDIR to be /etc/check_mk

Install libstatgrab or enable SNMP for the statistic-related checks

Enable Agent access via inetd or SNMP
