    <p>Extension of Ant's built-in <code>&lt;fail&gt;</code> task that
    can throw an exception that is given by a reference.  This may be
    useful if you want to rethrow the exception that has been caught
    by a <code>&lt;trycatch&gt;</code> task in the
    <code>&lt;catch&gt;</code> block.</p>
