INSTALL THE MAXMIND DATABASE

Download the file GeoIPCountryCSV.zip from www.maxmind.com. Extract GeoIPCountryWhois.csv
and put into a location in geoipgen's search path.

Copy and paste the following commands into your shell:

	wget http://www.maxmind.com/download/geoip/database/GeoIPCountryCSV.zip
	unzip GeoIPCountryCSV.zip
	mv GeoIPCountryWhois.csv /usr/local/share/ || ( mkdir $HOME/.geoipgen ; mv GeoIPCountryWhois.csv "$HOME/.geoipgen/")


FOR UNINSTALLED USE

Put GeoIPCountryWhois.csv in the same directory as geoipgen


INSTALLING GEOIPGEN

For system wide use copy geoipgen to /usr/local/bin
Per user installation, copy to ~/bin


DEPENDS

Depends on ruby. To install under Ubuntu / Debian try:
	$ sudo apt-get install ruby
