When <code>derive</code>d, because <code>Eq</code> has no extra methods, it is only informing the compiler that this is an equivalence relation rather than a partial equivalence relation. Note that the <code>derive</code> strategy requires all fields are <code>Eq</code>, which isn't always desired.</p> <h2 id='how-can-i-implement-eq' class='section-header'><a
