<p>The <code>()</code> type has exactly one value <code>()</code>, and is used when there
is no other meaningful value that could be returned. <code>()</code> is most
commonly seen implicitly: functions without a <code>-&gt; ...</code> implicitly
have return type <code>()</code>, that is, these are equivalent:</p>
