<p>The <a href="qtextdecoder.html">QTextDecoder</a> class provides a state-based decoder.</p>
<p>A text decoder converts text from an encoded text format into Unicode using a specific codec.</p>
<p>The decoder converts text in this format into Unicode, remembering any state that is required between calls.</p>
