Knetfilter

This is a KDE 3.x gui to netfilter that is usable with kernel 2.4 and 2.5.

Due to the latest Linux kernel developemnt, since version 3.1.0 Knetfilter 
needs at less Linux kernel 2.4.24 or newer to be fully functional.

It is possible to manage a complete firewall for all standard and
most of the non-standard operation just using Knetfilter.

Anyway sometimes the command line could be usefull, expecially 
to set up MASQUERADE. Anyway I like to think that Knetfilter helps 
users also to better understand Linux netfilter, and possibly to learn 
more about how iptables work.

You can download Knetfilter from:
http://expansa.sns.it/knetfilter,
or from any ftp.kde.org or sunsite.unc.edu mirror site (do not ask
me the directory PATH).

To install Knetfilter you have just to type:

./configure

make clean

make

make install

WARNING:
Knetfilter should be stable, at less it is stable for me, 
but if I was not figuring some scenario for rules set up, (and
probably I forgot a lot of them), then
you could have problem. please, report all those problems, so I can
fix it.
