<sect>Introduction
<p>
This program features a way of creating labels, covers, booklet for CD.<p>
I started this program a long time ago now, first as an exercise to learn KDE
programming, and second to have a interactive program for making labels for my
own CD.

<sect1>Changes
<p>

See ChangeLog for this information.

<sect>Installation
<p>
<sect1>How to obtain KCDLabel
<p>

You can get it from <htmlurl url="http://kcdlabel.sourceforge.net" name = "http://kcdlabel.sourceforge.net">

<sect1>Requirements
<p>

As you might expect you need KDE !
<p>
I've created 3 branches :
<p>
  first for KDE 1, obsolete now and not maintained anymore;
  <p>second for KDE 2, last version is 2.7;
  <p>port to KDE 3, same 2.7, but ported to KDE 3, made by Dag Nygren;

You need QT also of course ! But you should already have it with KDE !

<sect1>Compilation and installation
<p>

In order to compile and install KCDLabel on your system, type the following in
the base directory of the KCDLabel distribution:

<tscreen><verb>
% ./configure
% make
% make install
</verb></tscreen>

<p>
Since KCDLabel uses autoconf you should have not trouble compiling it.
Should you run into problems please report them to the the author at
