<code class="literal">root</code> user. You can use it to issue any command, but be
careful! There are no restrictions on the actions you can take on your
machine as <code class="literal">root</code>, and you could render your machine
unusable.

read <span><a name="BIdNEW-drakconsole-ph1"></a>
the Introduction to the Command Line chapter of the <span class="application">Mandriva
Linux</span> <em class="citetitle">Reference Manual</em></span>. To exit the console, type
<span class="command"><strong>exit</strong></span> or press the <span class="keycap"><strong>Ctrl</strong></span>+<span class="keycap"><strong>D</strong></span> keys.
