                 Linux</span> is a <span class="application">GNU/Linux</span> distribution
              supported by <span class="application">Mandriva</span> S.A., which was born on the
              Internet in 1998. Its main goal was and still is to provide an easy-to-use
              and friendly <span class="application">GNU/Linux</span> system. Today,
              <span class="application">Mandriva</span>'s activity lies on three pillars:
              simplicity, openness and innovation. Mandriva's distribution is the result
              of the best of Open source, based on collaborative work.
