1. You may wish to modify the program's default configuration. This may be
   done by running 'make config.h' and then editing the config.h file.

2. If you wish to use one of the alternative knob pixmaps, replace
   knob.xpm with the appropriate file.

3. Edit the Makefile to use the correct values for PREFIX, SNDARCH, CFLAGS
   and LDFLAGS.

4. Run 'make'.

5. Run 'make install'.
