Installation Instructions
-------------------------

1. Download the TET3/VSXgen framework, the desired test suites
   and the install script

tet_vsxgen_1.0.tar.gz
 - contains TET and the VSXgen framework. It is needed to run any
   of the test suites

lts_vsx-pcts_1.0.tar.gz
 - POSIX.1 test suite

lts_vsthlite_1.0.tgz
 - POSIX Threads test suite (lite version)

install.sh
 - Installer/Setup script

2. Ensure that all of the files downloaded are in the same directory
   and execute the install.sh script as root. The script will look
   after the creation of the test user accounts (vsx0, vsx1 and vsx2)
   and groups (vsxg*, supp*).

BUGS/TODO
----
- Split out files which are not natively part of
  TET3 and VSXgen (eg installer/setup scripts, userintf.c etc). This
  will make it easier to upgrade TET and VSXgen. It can also contain
  patches for either which have not yet been incorporated into 
  official versions.

- Write script to re-run tests without having to go through
  process of executing the correct profile setup first.

- Add ability to choose a subset of installed test suites to run.

NOTES
-----

Each test suite contains MAN/tset, SRC/subset and tset directories
which contains documentation and test set code. They also all should
contain a scripts/<test_suite_name> directory which contains scripts
which are to be run at suitable times during the setup and
installation of the installed test suites.
