Find a way to let user enter root password and then program as root.

Allow saving of current settings by writing to /etc/rc.d/rc.local (problem
is most distros do it differently)

Have an option to print out an option line that could be used with hdparm
e.g. if DMA is checked print out -d1. This is needed for the above option.
