Install MSVC 6.0
Install Nt DDK
Start "Checked Build" from start button
Modify batch file in ddk/bin/setenv.bat to run with MSVC (MSVC paths) and without W32 SDK (which is now a part of MSVC)
downloaded DbgView from www.sysinternals.com (lots of other good NT DD stuff on this site also), lets me view debug messages without second NT machine.
