1- HOW COMPILE WORDTRANS --------------------- You will need the following packages installed: libc6-dev, xlib6g-dev, libstdc++2.10-dev, gettext, sgml-tools, recode, g++, libqt2 and libqt2-dev (or libqt2.2 and libqt2.2-dev). 2- COMPILING WITH QT 2 ------------------- If you don't want to compile the version for the KDE 2 run ./switch-qt before going on. Edit Makefile.dirs and be sure the paths point to where qt2 is installed (by default they have the paths for Debian Potato). Run "debian/rules build" If everything is OK the executables will be created in src/, the documentation in docs/salida/ and the Spanish translation in po/. Now run "debian/rules binary" (as root) or "fakeroot debian/rules binary" (you need to install the package fakeroot, which allows you to create deb packages without the need of being root). The following packages will be created: ../wordtrans-console_1.0final0_i386.deb ../wordtrans-qt_1.0final0_i386.deb ../wordtrans-data_1.0final0_all.deb ../wordtrans-doc_1.0final0_all.deb ../wordtrans-web_1.0final0_all.deb ../wordtrans-kde_1.0final0_i386.deb Congratulations, now you can install the packages you are interested in.
