<LI>Result strings for
<TT>AT+FDCC=?</TT> and <TT>AT+FDIS=?</TT>
are semantically incorrect;
  ranges are returned as (a,b) instead of (a-b); e.g. (0,5) instead
  of (0-5) for signalling rate; this causes problems in deducing the
  true set of modem capabilities

<LI>The modem sends the host ^S/^Q during page
data transmission (<TT>AT+FDT</TT>)
  even when RTS/CTS flow control is enabled.
<LI>Prior to rev 1.76 it was not possible to
disable copy quality checking (<TT>AT+FCQ=0</TT> failed).
<LI>There is no support for transmission of 2D-encoded data
<LI>In certain revisions,
the modem was observed to enter a state where it repeatedly sent
  EOP when commanded to send MPS (for <TT>AT+FET=0</TT>); power-cycling the
  modem cleared this condition
<LI>In certain revisions prior to 1.76,
when transmitting, the modem drops page data
(due to improperly priming the datapump).
<LI>The modem returns "<TT>OK</TT>" instead of
"<TT>NO CARRIER</TT>" or "<TT>NO ANSWER</TT>" when a
  dial attempt times out before carrier is established
<LI>In firmware revision 1.76, <TT>AT+FREV?</TT> can return gibberish that
causes the fax software to be unable to initialize the modem; to workaround
the problem set the <B>ModemRevQueryCmd</B>
configuration parameter to <TT>"!C01.1.76"</TT> (so the command
is not sent to the modem).
