CHANGES from 0.6 o Updated to VIM 5.6. o Added VIM mode description. 1. INTRODUCTION This is a command and feature reference guide to VIM 5.6. VIM (stands for Vi IMproved) - greatly improved (over original UNIX vi) text editor with GUI, syntax highlighting, visual mode and many more new features you won't find in the original vi. VIM is Charityware. Please, see VIM documentation for further details. The text of the guide is comprised of various VIM documentation files, sometimes modified for better consistency with overall style of the guide. *NOTE*: this is NOT a complete user guide or tutorial. The only purpose of this guide is to give a VIM user a quick and handy reference. 2. FILES You should find the following files in the tar file: 1. vimguide-0.7-bkl[pln].letter[a4].ps - PostScript source file. 2. Readme - this file 3. Readme.bkl - how to make a booklet from (almost) any PostScript file. 3. REQUIREMENTS If you want to extract even and odd only pages you will need "psselect" (from "psutils" package) or Ghostview. For non-DUPLEX printers: ------------------------ Print odd pages, rotate the stack of pages and print even pages. You may want to try just a few pages first to find the right way for your printer.
