<P class="pg">Activate the layer "fields".</P>

<P class="pg">Now you need to separate the track into 32 approximately equally sized fields. The first field a player has to pass must have the color #000001, the second #000002, the third #000003 and so on. The last field has the color #00001f. Note: you won't see the difference of the colors of the fields with your eyes. But you can always measure it using the color picker of Gimp.</P>

<P class="pg">Choose the mode of this layer in the "Layers & Channels" dialog to be "Addition". You'll get the feeling that the layer disappeared, but it gets just visually combined with the layer behind it (which is "vmap").</P>
