It is also available on a number of public domain and freeware-style CD-ROMs. The master distribution site for HylaFAX is the host <B>ftp.sgi.com</B>. Since 1998 there is also a server in Germany on the host <B>ftp.sisis.de</B>. Binary distributions come with their own installation instructions that are tailored to their format and the needs of the target system. Beta software differs from released software mainly in the level of testing that has been done.
