I suspect that the okipage 4w and okipage 4w plus are identical in terms of
hardware.  The only difference between them are in respect of the Win software
and (maybe) firmware version.

Those are IEEE1248 devices. The Linux parport_probe module detects this
printer nicely. This will be the way to implement functionality like online
printer control... 

The files *.rip in this directory contain the data corresponding to the
setting of power-saving modes.
