================================================================ Running MOL ================================================================ The directory /etc/mol/ contains various configurations (which HFS-partitions to use etc). In particular you should edit /etc/mol/molrc and the configuration files included from that file. After examining the molrc file, start MOL: bash$ startmol On 2.2 kernels, the /boot/System.map file must be up to date (or there will be an error). If there is an error, try bash$ startmol vmlinux where 'vmlinux' is image of the kernel currently running, or bash$ startmol System.map where 'System.map' is un corresponds to the running kernel (or even better - replace the incorrect one in the /boot directory). MacOS should now boot (if not, examine the log carefully). There are mailing list (and archives!) which might be helpful, as well as further duocumentation on the Mac-on-Linux homepage (www.maconlinux.org). NOTE: It might be necessary to recompile the MOL kernel module against the kernel headers corresponding to the kernel you are running. (A complaint about missing symbols is the usual symptom).
