DESCRIPTION
-----------

libmnote is a library for parsing, editing, and saving MakerNote-EXIF-tags.

FEATURES
--------

libmnote supports parsing, editing and saving of EXIF MakerNote
data. In addition, it has gettext support. Currently, libmnote
supports only a few camera manufacturer MakerNote formats (submissions
are welcome).

REQUIREMENTS
------------

libmnote is written in plain C and builds upon libexif. Therefore, you need
to have latter library installed if you would like to use libmnote.

FRONTENDS
---------

Right now, I know of the following frontends to libmnote:
 - exif:    A small command-line utility to show EXIF information in JPEG files
            (http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/libexif).

BUGS
----

I don't know of any.

libmnote was derived from libexif's original MakerNote support by
Rod Whitby <software.libexif@rwhitby.net>.  The MakerNote support
in libexif was written by Lutz Müller <lutz@users.sourceforge.net>.
