The installation procedure for this piece of software is truly easy:

Step 1: Unpack the archive by typing 'tar -zxvf PortScanner-xx.tar.gz'
	(where 'xx' is the version number). This will create a PortScanner
	directory in which all the files will be installed.

Step 2: "cd PortScanner-xx" (where 'xx' is the version number)
	run "make"
	run "make xportscan" if you want to create the GTK+ interface

Step 3: su to root
	run "make install"

Should you want to remove PortScanner from your machine, su to root and
run "make uninstall" from the PortScanner directory.
