There's a chance I'll look into optimizing some of the drawing routines to keep 
trips to the x server to a minimum, for exmaple by batching drawLine() calls.

But for me, MKUltra runs pretty quickly (faster than Keramic or other gaudy kwin 
clients) and looks 100% like I sketched it out in the Gimp.
