Known bugs

Problem:
When multiple copies of lives are open, stopping playback in one copy will stop all copies from playing.

With multiple copies open, sometimes preview does not work - currently under investigation.


Fix required:


It would be nice if mplayer or sox had options to log their pid's to a file.




Problem:
LiVES crashes after grabbing an external window. This is an X Windows problem.


Fix required: all X windows should implement the _XEMBED protocol.





Problem:
LiVES may incorrectly determine the signedness of 16 bit audio samples.
LiVES assumes 16 bit samples are always signed.



Fix required:
LiVES needs some way to determine this.






Problem:
If xmms is paused, LiVES may start it when playing a clip, if 
'pause xmms during playback is active'.




Fix required:
xmms -u should always pause xmms, even if it is not playing.
