Things I would like to do someday:

UI stuff:

* Be able to zoom deeper than 1 pixel/sample
* Ability to adjust selection start/end by dragging
* Autoscrolling when selecting
* Check for old tempfiles on startup
* Make selection color and chunk colors configurable
* Improve the VU meters.
* Effect browser window with all available effects (including
  sox/ladspa/etc)
* Be able to do some stuff with only one channel (select, play, copy)
* Display cursor position and mouse pointer position.
* MS-Windows port. (with MingW32 maybe)
* Add zooming buttons to toolbar

Playback/recording:

* Option to limit recording time.
* Option to record until silence.
* CD ripping (through some lib).
* Full duplex sound drivers.
  * Recording in sync with playback.
  * Recording anytime without stopping playback.
* Separating input and output driver where possible.
* ALSA sound driver
* EsounD driver

File formats:

* Progress dialog when saving.
* Option to select temp directory
* Support for compressed files.
  * MP3 Loading/Saving (through some lib).
  * Ogg Vorbis Loading/Saving
  * Keeping the original (compressed) data as much as possible.
* A better export function.

* LADSPA effect plugins support.
* FFT
