cvsreport - generate CVS activity reports Presentation cvsreport produces text or enhanced HTML activity reports from a local or remote CVS repository. It can be used to extract activity information from any time span, or to automatically generate reports on commit events. Installation The make target 'install' will install cvsreport into PREFIX/bin and its man(1) page into PREFIX/share/man/man1. The default PREFIX is '/usr/local'. Note that the global configuration file is always '/etc/cvsreport.conf', independently of PREFIX. For mail-on-commit setup, go through the following steps : * checkout a copy of the 'CVSROOT' module from your repository * edit CVSROOT/commitinfo and add a line like (see man page) : ALL cvsreport -e 'mail text cvs@project.com' * commit this modification, and it will be effective for all modules, starting from the next commit event. cvsreport is copyright (c) 2003 Vincent Caron <v.caron@zerodeux.net>, released under the GNU GPL license (see COPYING).
